SENIOR SPEECH PATHOLOGIST & CLINICAL MENTOR
Lisa is our Senior Speech Pathologist and Co-Director, specialising in paediatric cases across clinic, community, and home settings.
Her expertise lies in speech, language, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and literacy interventions. Lisa is passionate about supporting families comprehensively to achieve their goals.
Lisa graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2015 with a Masters of Speech Pathology following a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science. She has pursued additional training in various specialised programs including DIR FloorTime, Sounds Write Literacy Programme, Little Learners Love Literacy Programme, Key Word Sign, and Learn to Play training. Lisa has also completed a range of professional leadership courses to enhance her skills in mentoring and clinical practice.
Lisa's career began in special developmental school settings, where she provided crucial support to clients with complex communication needs. She later assumed the role of Clinical Manager, leading a multidisciplinary team of 20. In this capacity, Lisa provided clinical supervision to junior clinicians and students, furthering her commitment to developing the next generation of speech pathology professionals.
Lisa's primary area of professional interest is in paediatrics, focusing on enhancing communication and literacy skills in children. She is known for her innovative approaches and commitment to evidence-based practice.
Outside of her professional life, Lisa enjoys staying active through running, pilates, and walking. She spends her spare time with her pet cows, and finds relaxation in camping adventures.
