Michael
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Michael is a passionate Physiotherapist dedicated to helping people achieve their mobility and functional goals. He enjoys being creative in his approach, using environments like hydrotherapy and the outdoors to enhance his clients' quality of life and boost their confidence.
Michael is known for breaking down complex physiotherapy terminology, empowering his clients to understand their conditions and how their bodies work.
Michael graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2020 and holds a Diploma in Dance Performance from the New Zealand School of Dance. He is also certified in dry needling, hand splinting, and Mulligan's Part A.
With three years of previous experience as a physiotherapist at Wellington Regional Hospital in New Zealand, Michael has worked across various areas including emergency, musculoskeletal outpatients, ICU, orthopaedics, and neurological rehabilitation. He has a special interest in neurological rehab and presented at the NZ Physiotherapy Conference in 2022.
Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Michael recently moved to Melbourne. Outside of work, he enjoys dancing, BFT, playing board games, and exploring the vibrant city.
